La Boscaiola, una casa in Franciacorta.

È la storia di un uomo, delle sue figlie e della loro, comune, sentita passione per il vino.

Ci troviamo a Cologne Bresciano, nel cuore della Franciacorta, dove nel 1960, il medico Nelson Cenci, ex ufficiale alpino, reduce dalla ritirata di Russia e scrittore, acquista una cascina del 1600, la ristruttura finemente e attorno ad essa inizia a recuperare le viti, a piantarne di nuove, radici nella profondità del suolo, a restaurare e ingrandire la cantina per fare i suoi vini con passione e dedizione.

“… il vino è la poesia della terra”, scriveva Mario Soldati e la casa è il luogo dell’esperienza: oggi a fianco del padre, guidano l’azienda agricola le figlie Giuliana e Maria Grazia e qui, da più di trent’anni si producono vini di anima, nell’attenzione accordata alle piccole cose, alla campagna, alla vendemmia e al lento affinamento delle bottiglie.

It is the story of a man and his daughters and their shared heartfelt passion for wine.

We are in Cologne Bresciano, in the heart of the Franciacorta area, where in 1960 Nelson Cenci, doctor, writer, ex-officer of the Alpine troops and survivor of the Russian retreat, bought a seventeenth century farmhouse, renovated it and began recovering the vines around it and planting new ones. He also restored and extended the cellar in order to make his wines with passion and dedication.

“Wine is the poetry of the earth”, wrote Mario Soldati and the house is home to this experience. Today, his daughters Giuliana and Maria Grazia run the winery alongside their father, where they have been producing wines with character for over thirty years, paying attention to every detail, the countryside, the harvest, the vinification and the slow maturation of the wine in bottle.
